THE BROCKHOUSE X-RAY DIFFRACTION AND SCATTERING SECTOR (BXDS)

About BXDS

The Brockhouse Sector consists of 3 hard X-ray beamlines dedicated to diffraction and scattering techniques. We have an in-vacuum wiggler and an in-vacuum undulator in the sector 4 straight section of the 2.9 GeV Canadian Light Source. The wiggler is the source for two beamlines,

Wiggler Low Energy (WLE)
Wiggler High Energy (WHE)

while the undulator feeds one beamline,

In-Vacuum Undulator (IVU)
